Riffle-Gonzalez joined the U.S. Marine Corps after her graduation from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2017. While in the corps, she held various leadership positions, including as light armored vehicle and electronic warfare support platoons commander in Camp Lejeune, N.C.; electronic warfare liaison to the Norwegian Defence Force while on deployment in the arctic with 1st Battalion, 8th Marines; special security officer of 2nd Radio Battalion; series commander of Oscar Company, 4th Recruit Training Battalion at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.; and finished her active duty time as the head of Drill Instructor Assessment and Development at the Recruit Training Regiment at Parris Island.

Recently, Riffle-Gonzalez completed her master’s degree in Cybersecurity from Georgia Institute of Technology, and continues to operate her real estate business in the residential development around the private golf club on Cat Island in Beaufort, S.C.
