Annapolis, MD, (Oct., 17, 2023) — Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices PenFed Realty, one of the fastest-growing real estate brokerages in the region, is pleased to announce the formation of Bay to Beach Homes, a new real estate team comprised of real estate sales professionals and entrepreneurial powerhouses Heather D’Jangali and Janice Tippett.
D’Jangali, a real estate agent with 18 years of experience in the Maryland region, has been operating as a solo agent with PenFed Realty since 2005. This month, she and Tippett, who has operated her own local marketing firm for more than 30 years, have joined forces to launch their new real estate venture based in PenFed Realty’s Annapolis branch office.

In addition to her successful career in real estate, D’Jangali is the chief financial officer of Interstate Service Company, one of Washington, D.C.’s leading commercial mechanical contractor companies. She also owns and operates several other businesses, including Island Charm—Culebra!, a boutique hotel in Puerto Rico. She has received several awards for her community work, including The Daily Record’s “Maryland’s Top 100 Women'' in 2020, and the Women of Prince George’s County’s “Community Leader Award” in 2019.
Tippett’s entrepreneurial spirit started in 1990 at the age of 21 when she opened her first business, JT’s Graphic Design, out of her parents’ basement. This business grew to become Millennium Marketing Solutions, a nationally recognized integrated marketing agency. She has received numerous awards, including two-time recipient of “Maryland’s Top 100 Women” and “Enterprising Women of the Year.” Earlier this year, Tippett sold her company to devote her time to her next venture—Bay to Beach Homes.
A life-long investor, developer, and owner of residential and commercial real estate, Tippett is excited to combine her passion for real estate with her business and marketing experience, as well as her commitment to the local community. Tippett currently is a Luminis Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation Board Member and serves as an auxiliary member of the Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department.
